The 2020–2022 pandemic initiated a tradition of outdoor summer concerts that were so successful and popular that they have continued post-pandemic in the greater Guilford area. The GCP Committee had public concerts in mind as one of the many uses for the GCP Pavilion. There are plans to acquire a sound system that would be installed in the Pavilion during its late spring to early fall season. An amphitheater of grassy tiers for concert seating will be constructed on the south side of the Pavilion for larger concerts and events.
