WHO IS THE GUILFORD COMMUNITY PARK?
The Guilford Community Park is comprised of a committee of dedicated people from the Guilford Community Church, plus one other member from the community at large. We are Dunham Rowley, Dwayne Johnson, Peter Amidon, Jim Haine, Elizabeth Christie, and Tracy Sloan. We also have a corps of volunteers who take up landscaping, gardening, and grounds keeping.
The Park is located on Guilford Community Church land. The Park is being run administratively through the Community Collaborative for Guilford and acts as its Fiscal Agent. CC4G is a fully registered 501 c 3 and works to collaborate with other non-profit groups to improve the social and cultural life of the residents of Algiers Village, the Town of Guilford and the general public.
Both the Committee and the Church want everyone to know that the park is open to everyone from the public to come and enjoy our pavilion, the playground, and the labyrinth.
